EMILY HSIAO
Nesuku's Product Design

OVERVIEW
Based on Andy and Lars' original idea of an online language learning marketplace and our market research, we designed and developed a web product for our teachers and students.

We enlisted the help of a graphic designer and contracted back-end programmers, but did the ideation, wireframe, and front-end programming ourselves.

Needs Assessment
Focusing on our 2-3 customer personas that we had identified in our market research, we interviewed and observed people who fit those personas to identify their needs.

Features Identification
Based on our interviews and observations, we decided on key features that would be prioritized in our Minumum Viable Product

Wireframe
Utilizing moqups and Invision, we created wireframes for the features we had identified

Graphic Design
We utilized Adobe Creative Suite, Power Point, and drawing to collaborate with our graphic designer, who combined our input and wireframes to create layouts for the final landing page

Front-end Programming
Finally, we conducted the front-end programming for the website (primarily done by co-founder Andy)

User Testing
With their permission, we videotaped users on our website to understand their thought process and identify bugs
